"Jessie May Braby, age 85, died Dec. 2, 1991 at the home of her daughter of natural causes.

She was born Oct. 9, 1906 in Salt Lake City to A. Lennie and Harriet Edith Theobald George. Married Edward William Braby Aug. 8, 1928 in the Logan LDS Temple; he died May 23, 1981.
May served several LDS Missions with her husband Edward, including the South Florida Mission, the Hawaii, Honolulu Mission, and Temple Square Visitor Center. She also served as an Extractor in the Stake extraction program. She volunteered many hours working in the Family to Family Book of Mormon Program and has received letters from a number of grateful recipients of her testimony. She made sure all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren received a copy of the Book of Mormon with her testimony in it. May was truly a missionary all of her life as exemplified by the influence she had on her family and all those who met her. Both of her sons and ten grandsons have served or are serving LDS Missions. The family gratefully acknowledges the loving care that she received from Dr. Patricia Legant.

Survived by sons and daughter, Lawrence E. Braby, wife Eula; David G. Braby, wife Tina; Linda B. Richins and husband Phil; 23 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren; sister, Marjorie Larson.

Preceded in death by a daughter Carol B. Wade and son-in-law, Lester Wade; brothers, Len and Floyd.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 5, 2 p.m. in the South Cottonwood 13th Ward, 5235 So. 1100 East. Friends may call at the Jenkin-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State, Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment, Wasastch Lawn Memorial Park."
