"Steven Floyd George, 42, former Salt Lake resident, died early Sunday at his residence in San Francisco of a heart ailment, according to word received by Salt Lake relatives.
A son of Lennie and Harriet Theobald George, he was born Aug. 13, 1908, in Salt Lake City. He attended Salt Lake city schools and West High School. [He was well known in the local dance bands as a drummer.]
Mr. George, at the time of his death was associated with Eagleson & Co. clothing store in San Francisco.
Survivors include his widow, Fran George; a son by a former marriage Gerald George, San Francisco; his mother, two sisters, Mrs. "May" G. Braby and Mrs. Marjorie G. Larson, all of Salt Lake City, and a brother, W. (William) Len George, San Francisco.
Funeral services and burial were conducted Tuesday in San Francisco."
