Mrs. J. T. Fletcher died Yesterday Evening--Funeral Service Friday
Mrs Katherine Fletcher, widow of John T. Fletcher, died about eight o'clock yesterday evening at her home in this community. She had been in poor health and unable to walk since an accidental fall two years ago, but had been bedfast for only the last six weeks.
Mrs. Fletcher was born in Ohio April 20, 1842, and had lived at Crawfordsville since 1884, coming with her husband and family to a farm near this place from Bureau County Illinois. She attended the Methodist church and was a woman well known in the community and held in high regard.
She leaves seven sons and four daughters, Mrs. Fannie Williams, John T. Fletcher, James, Roy, Mrs. C. F. Hull, O. L., S. C., Frank, Miss Nellie, Miss Grace and Eugene Fletcher all of whom live in the Crawfordsville except Roy of Wyman, Mrs. Hull of Williamsburg, Kan., O. L. of Wyanet, Ill., and Eugene of Columbus Junction.
Funeral services will be held at the late home Friday afternoon at 2:30 in charge of Rev. Mr. Barr, pastor of the Methodist church with burial in the Crawfordsville cemetery.
