Mrs. Goldy Ross

Funeral services for Mrs. Goldy Ross, 47, were held in Witsier's chapel this afternoon. The Reverand R. W. Maulden presided. Mrs. Ross died in Providence Hospital, Seattle, Tuesday, August 3. She was born in Ottumwa, Iowa, on July 23, 1896, and after living in Calgary, Canada, and Vancouver, British Columbia, she moved to Shelton in 1935.
She is survived by her widower, Thomas Ross, two daughters, Mildred Jeanette, and Mavis Avon Ross, Shelton; one sister, Mrs. William Sparrowgrove, Marengo, Iowa; and one brother, J. A. Hawkins, Chicago. Pall bearers were Garland Johnson, Roger Wilson, Lloyd Morgan, Victor McNamara, V. T. Connolly, and Harvey Beal.
