Marengo, Ia., Dec. 9 -- The funeral service of Edward Hawkins was held Sunday afternoon in the Wesleyan Methodist church, the Rev. Lester R. Fletcher officiating. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman H. Hawkins, born in Pennsylvania, March 29, 1866. His death occured Friday in the home of his daughter.
He is survived by his widow; four sons, Joe, Edward, Jason and Ray; three daughters, Mrs. Golden Ross, Mrs. Rill Speargrove, Mrs. Edna Linn, and a sister, Mrs. Nett Stanton.

Marengo, Ia., Dec. 9 -- The funeral service of Edward Hawkins was held Sunday afternoon at the Wesleyan Methodist church, the Rev. R. Fletcher officiated.
He was the son of Mr and Mrs Lyman H. Hawkins, born in Pennsylvania, March 29, 1866.
After a short illness he died at the home of his daughter in Marengo Dec. 6, at the age of 64.
He is survived by his wife, four sons, Joe, Edward, Jason and Ray, and three daughters, Mrs Golden Ross, Mrs Rill Speargrove, Mrs Edna Linn, and one sister, Mrs Nett Stanton.
