Known as 'Peg', she was born and raised in Onaka and Faulkton, South Dakota.

In 1940 she married Carlyle B. Wurster, known as 'Bud' or 'Stub' in Las Vegas, NV. She and 'Bud' lived in Merrill, Wisconsin after their marriage and until the death of her father in 1962. Both her parents came to live with them in 1957 when Mason retired from the County Clerks office in South Dakota.

By the 1970's both Peg and Stub moved to Jacksonville, Alabama and resided with her sister Betty's family. Also living there were sister Dorothy Chamberlin Hansen, sister Kathy and later brother Rich, as well as their mother Lida. A rather unusual living arrangment, they were well known in the community and a very loving family.

Peg was a nurse by profession and one of the sweetest people I have been blessed to call family.

Gravesite Details

There is no headstone present. Peg was cremated and buried in the same plot as her sister Dorothy Hansen
