Mrs. Ruth Ann Reed, 87, passed away Monday at her home near Kettle Falls, where she had lived since 1902. She was born in Indiana in 1851.
Mrs. Reed was a member of the Kettle Falls W.R.C. and the Sherman Grange. Her husband, James Reed, passed away in 1929. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bert Crofoot and Mrs. Lewis E. Fuller, both of Kettle Falls; two sons, Harrison E. of Kettle Falls and O.J. of Gary, IN.; 22 grandchildren and 24 greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Bair & Violette funeral home, with Rev. Chester C. Blair of Colville officiating and Re. C.F. Bierkemper of Northport officiating.
Interment was in the Garden Valley cemetery.
