Margaret Egan, 86, a native of Big Oak Flat and a Merced resident for 64 years, died last Friday in a local hospital.
Mrs Egan was the widow of the late Patrick Egan.
Surviving are three sisters Mrs Mary Agnes of Merced, Mrs Julia Tryom of San Leandro and Mrs Catherine Blair of Stockton.
Funeral services were held in the Our Lady of Merced church here with the Very Rev Father M J Stack officiating. Burial was here in Calvary Cemetery here.
