Marjorie Carter, 70, Milford, died Tuesday at her home.
Born on October 19, 1927, in Decatur County, she was the daughter of Roy and Earnie (Sarchett) Jones. On November 13, 1944, she married William Howard Carter, and he survives.
Mrs. Carter was a homemaker.
Survivors include four sons, William E. Carter, Alert, and Stanley Carter, Jim Carter and Keith Carter, all of Milford; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Anita) Meyer and Wanda Carter, both of Greensburg; 20 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.
Services will be Friday at Glenn E. George Funeral Homes, St. Paul, with the Rev. Leroy Reed officiating. Burial will be in Milford Cemetery.
