Harold Preston Jones, 68, R.R.3, Greensburg, died at 4:40 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 1992 in the Decatur Memorial Hospital, Greensburg.
He was born December 19, 1923 in Greensburg, the son of Roy and Earnie Sarchett Jones. He was a retired farmer at the Melvin Kettle Farm in Decatur County.
He is survived by three sons, Bruce and Danny Jones and Joey Wright, all three of Milford, Indiana; three daughters, Donna Redd and Melody Jones, both of Milford, and Kelly Tomlinson, Brookville, Indiana; a brother Kenneth (KC) Jones, Milford, and a sister, Mrs. Howard (Margie) Carter, Milford and 15 grandchildren. One brother, Walter Jones, and one sister, Lucille Jones Manning, preceded him in death.
The services will be Friday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home, Greensburg with the Rev. LeRoy Reed officiating.
Burial will be in the Milford Cemetery in Milford.
