1863: (Feb 1863) Crawford Co, Letters of Administration, Probate, page 468, State of Missouri, County of Crawford: Know ye, that whereas WILLIAM SNEED, late of the county of Crawford, died intestate, as it is said, leaving at the time of his death, property in this state, and according to law, we do hereby appoint SARAH C. SNEAD, administratrex of said state, Signed by J.E. Davis, Judge on 16 February 1863.

Probate Records, Crawford Co, MO; JUNE TERM 1863; SARAH C SNEAD administrator of the estate of WILLIAM SNEAD deceased comes into court and files inventory of money notes and accounts in amount of $129.80 the sum to be charged on probate ledger and also files sale bill in amount of $193.52 same to be charged on probate ledger and the further sum of $105.00 property taken at appraised value in part of widows dower to be charged on probate ledger.

MARCH TERM 1864: Estate of WM SNEAD, dec'd; Now at this day comes SARAH C. SNEAD as administratix of said estate and suggests and admits her marriage and therefore the court revokes her letters heretofore granted to and orders and decrees that all her power and authority as such administratix cease for after the date of here said marriage as afore said. JUNE TERM 1864: Estate of WILLIAM SNEAD dec'd: Now at this day comes G.W. Sanders admin of said estate and presents receipts of SARAH C. ROBINSON former admin of said estate the sum of $158.79 which is by the court entered and charged on probate ledgers. (pge 391) (Sarah married Thomas C. Robertson on 6 Dec 1863; Thomas was brother to William "Bud" Sneed's wife, Lucinda)

MARCH TERM 1867: Estate of WILLIAM SNEAD dec'd: Now at this day comes JOHN H. RAMSEY into open court and files his bill in the sum of $1500.00 as curator of the MINOR HEIRS of WM SNEED deceased which bill is by the court approved (page 469)
