Aurora, Utah - Our beloved wife, mother, granny and granny-great, Thelma Nalder Hatch, age 90, died December 15, 2009 in Centerfield. She was born November 26, 1919 in Clearfield, Utah, a daughter of Albert Oscar and Ida Mae Bambrough Nalder. She graduated from Ogden High School, Class of 1937.

She married Glen J. Shaw, march 1, 1939 in Ogden. They were later divorced. She married Zane E. Hatch, November 3, 1962 in Kaysville, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, May 8, 1982.

Mom was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in several different callings through the years. She and Dad were workers in the Manti Temple for 10 years. She was an active member fo the American Legion Auxiliary in Redmond.

Mom loved to crochet and was well known for her beautiful work. Mom and Dad were square dancers for many years. They traveled to all the states and Canada with their good friends, Udell and Jean Johnson. When she was younger, Mom like to go fishing a lot.

She is survived by her husband, Zane, of Aurora; her children: Glenna Long, Tracy and Ronda Shaw, all of Aurora; her step-children: Cheryl Damron, Zanaya Nielsen and Denise Walker, all of Ogden; Brian and Mona Caldwell of Macks Inn, Idaho; a foster-daughter, Louella Howard of Arizona; 17 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister: Irvin Nalder, Joseph Nalder and Rosetta Belnap.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 28, 2009 at 12 Noon in the Aurora 2nd LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call for viewing Sunday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or Monday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services.

Burial will be in the Aurora City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah
