Glenna married William Wesley Long July 17, 1971 in Ogden. He died July 17, 1977.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in the Aurora 2nd Ward as the Sunday School Secretary and as the Scout Troop Secretary for over 30 years. She was a big part and influence of the boys in the Aurora 2nd Ward receiving their Eagle Scout Awards during those 30 years.
Glenna loved to read and do crossword puzzles. She also loved to knit and do cross stitch. Anyone who knew Glenna, knew she was a big Utah Jazz Fan....GO JAZZ!!!
He loved spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. They were the light of her life.
Glenna is survived by her son and his wife, Matt and Tammy Long of Aurora; her step-father, Zane Hatch of Centerfield; grandchildren: Marissa and Kyle Chappell, Miranda and Skylyn Christensen, Madysen Long; great-grandchildren: Nixon Chappell and Sawyer Chappell with 1 on the way; sister-in-law: Ronda Shaw of Aurora.
She is preceded in death by her father, Glen J. Shaw; her mother, Thelma N. Hatch; and her brother, Tracy J. Shaw.
As per Glenna's request, there will only be a graveside services held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Aurora City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
