In 1910, he was living at Prairie, Oklahoma where he was breaking horses for the US Cavalry at Fort Reno. The death of Jasper Lasater at Pampa, Texas was mentioned last week. The body arrived in Graham and was carried to the home of his sister, Mrs. R.M. Williams, on East Fourth Street. The funeral was conducted by Rev. G.W.Black and the body buried in Oak Grove cemetery. He fell from a wagon, Monday morning, December 31, and was killed instantly. It was the morning of a severe blizzard and he was hauling some feed for cattle and it is supposed that he became so cold that he fell from the loaded wagon and life was crushed out. Mr. Lasater formerly lived in Young County and his friends regret to learn of his untimely death. He divorced his wife, Trissie Lasater, before his death.

Survived by one daughter - Mrs. L.C. "Lura" Bailey.

Mrs. C.L. Pickard, Mrs. Kate Lowrance, Mrs. R.M. Williams are sisters of the deceased.
