Services were scheduled for 2:30 pm today at Mr. Zion Church in Tuscumbia for Robert D. Parkhurst, 61, of 416 W. Miller St., who died Friday at his home.
The Rev. Mark Sooter will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.
Mr. Parkhurst was born Aug. 6, 1896, in Miller County, the son of James and Sara Bass Parkhurst. He was married to Miss Ida Burks in 1930* in Miller County. Mr. Parkhurst was a retired farmer and a member of the Mount Zion Baptist Church in Tuscumbia.
Surviving are his widow; one daughter, Shirley Parkhurst of the home; three sons, John of the home, Robert of Eldon and James of Mount Pleasant; a half sister, Mrs. Mildred Roark of Jefferson City; a half brother, Theodore Martin of Jefferson City; and five grandchildren.
