L. Paul Kelly, 78, of Villa Hills, died at 12:10 p.m. Monday at Rosedale Manor Nursing Home, Covington. He was a retired owner of Howard's Union 76 gas station on Fifth Street in Covington. He also was a member of Covington Elks, Covington L. Moose and Sunday Morning Clubs; Kenton County Boys/ Girls Club and St. Vincent DePaul Society. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Mary B. Flynn Kelly; a son, Dan Kelly of Ft. Mitchell; daughters, Brenda Augustin of Cincinnati, Mary Stevens of Ft. Mitchell, Colleen Kramer of Ft. Wright and Nancy Kelly of Villa Hills; brothers, Frank Kelly of Cincinnati and Cyril Kelly of Latonia; and 11 grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Church, Crescent Springs. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Thursday at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger. Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery, Ft. Wright. Memorials are suggested to Parish Kitchen, 143 Pike St., Covington 41011, or Kenton County Boys/Girls Club.
