He married Thereesa Mueller on May 20, 1950.

Died Sunday, December 18, 1994 at his daughter's home in Lexington, Kentucky.

He was a retired U.S. Postal carrier for 42 years and a veteran of World War II, former member of the Draft Board 1969-1974, a member of Pendleton County Youth Fair Board, a member of St. Francis Xavier Church and the Holy Name Society.

His wife, Theresa, passed away September 19, 1993. A son, Joseph Michael Kelly and sisters, Vera Schlanser and Mary Catherine Kelly, also preceded him in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Martha Ann Kelly Lynn and grandson, Michael Austin Lynn of Lexington; brothers, Donnie Kelly of DeMossville, Cyril Kelly of Covington, Frank E. Kelly of Cincinnati, and Paul Kelly of Villa Hills.

Mass of Resurrection was held at St. Francis Xavier Church at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, December 21, 1994. Visitation was held 4-9 P.M. Tuesday, December 20 at Peoples Funeral Home, Falmouth.

Burial was at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Falmouth, under the direction of Peoples Funeral Home, Falmouth.
