Eulalia Malinda Smith, 73, of Sterling, died Thursday, March 23, 1995 in Sterling.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 26 and from 10 a.m. to time of service on Monday, March 27. Funeral is 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 27 at Christ United Methodist Church with the Rev. Christine Wolcott Richardson officiating. Burial is at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Smith was born Dec. 20, 1921 to Leonard Andrew and Malinda Elizabeth Drier Hagemeier in LeRoy. She retired from Re-1 School District after 23 years. She taught a total of 30 years. She married Gerald Smith on March 17, 1946 in Fleming. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church and Delta Kappa Gamma. She was also an avid fan of barbershop quartet entertainment.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Gerald of Sterling; a son, Gerry and wife Kathy Smith of Greeley; a daughter, Samnile and husband Perry Pomeroy of Merino; eight sisters, Nema Johnson of Potter, Neb., June Decker of Loveland, Meryle Kennedy of Fleming, Ethel May Plog of Fleming, Grace Warren of Greenwood Village, Joyce Brehm of San Diego, Vonnie Boyer of San Diego, and Man lynn Quinn of Evergreen; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Elno in 1983.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or American Cancer Society.
