Mrs. Hagemeier, 86 of Aurora, formerly of Sterling, died Sunday in Aurora.
She was born June 18, 1897 in LeRoy to Ernest and Lydia Heist Dreier. She was reared in the LeRoy community and received her early schooling there.
On Sept. 5, 1917, she married Leonard Hegemeier in LeRoy. The couple farmed and ranched in the LeRoy and Fleming areas until 1957, when they moved to Sterling. Mr. Hagemeier died in 1960 and Mrs. Hagemeier continued to live in Sterling until she moved to Aurora in July of 1982. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Womens Club.
Mrs. Hagemeier is survived by nine daughters, Meryl Bledsoe and Ethel Mae Plog, both of Fleming, Nema Johnson of Potter, Neb., June Decker of Loveland, Eulalia Smith of Sterling, Grace War ren of Englewood, Joyce Brehm of Chicago, Ill., V. LaVon Boyer of San Diego, Calif., and Marilyn Quinn of Evergreen.
She is also survived by four sisters, Edna Loos of Flem ing, Laura Newton of Longmont, Ernestine Achenbach of Red Feather Lakes and Ella Cathcart of Honolulu, Hawali; 33 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grand children.
