Mrs. Gerald Dillavou, 74, formerly of Yarmouth, passed away Thursday, August 9, 1955 at 3 p.m at the Muscatine County hospital. Mary Martha, daughter of Martha (Ratliff) Mosher and Alonzo Mosher was born May 23, 1881 at Salem, Iowa.

She was married August 19, 1903 at Salem, Iowa to Gerald Orval Dillavou who preceded her May 17, 1950. Mrs. Dillavou was a member of the Friends Church at Salem.

The following children are left; Mrs. Martha Wiley of Wyman, Luther Z. Dillavou and Mrs. Ledra Bergen both of Letts, Rex D Dillavou of Muscatine, and Mrs. Eileen Evans of Tiffin. Thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.

The following brothers and sisters also survive: Jimmy Mosher, Mrs. Eva Barton, Mrs. Clara Barton, all of Salem, Amos Mosher of Colorado, and Mrs. Maria Watts of Yates Center, Kans. Three sisters and one brother preceded her in death.

Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Elliott Chapel in New London with the Rev. Wade Dillavou of Oskaloosa officiating. Nephews will act as pallbearers. Interment will be in Friends cemetery at Salem.
