She was 82, a native of New Roads and resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home, 11 am to 9 pm Wednesday and 8 am to 10 am Thursday. Religious services at St Alphonsus Catholic Church at 10:30 am Thursday, conducted by the Rev Eric Gyan. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by two daughters, Mrs Leslie (Betty) Babin and Mrs Marsaline Bourgeois, both of Baton Rouge; a son, William T. "Butch" Lovett Jr., Baton Rouge; three sisters, Mrs Lillian Boudreaux, Baton Rouge, Mrs Kirby "Midget" Lemoine, Port Allen, and Mrs Sadie Lovett, Clinton; a brother, Taylor S. Bernard, Sr., Grosse Tete; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, William T Lovett Sr,; two daughters and three sons. Pallbearers will by Dudley Bourgeois, Russell Butler, Jr, Arthur Bernard, Jr, Dr Farrell Fruge Jr, Wickliff Samson and Taylor Bernard, Jr. She was a member of St Alphonsus Catholic Church.
