Funeral services for William Alfred Walker, 85, of 603 N. 6th St., Monroe, were held at 10:30 a.m. today in the chapel of Kilpatrick's Funeral Home of West Monroe with the Rev. Carl Barnes officiating.

Burial was in New Hope Cemetery in Dodson.

Mr. Walker died Wednesday in Veterans Hospital, Alexandria, after a long illness.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. H. J. Waller of Monroe; three brothers, L. R. Walker, Tannehill, J. J. Walker of Texas City, Tex. and Bob Walker of Winnfield; several nieces and nephews.
