Gerald W. Bahney, March 2, 1912 - July 18, 1992, Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, for Gerald W. BAHNEY, 80, of Rt. 1, Roann. Dr. Lee KANTENWEIN will officiate and burial will be in the Akron Cemetery. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. today. Mr. Bahney died at 12:30 a.m. Saturday in the Wabash County Hospital, Wabash, where he was admitted Friday. He was born in Miami County to Moses and Valura NYE BAHNEY. On Nov. 24, 1932 in Perry Township of Miami County he married Pauline KEIM, who survives. He was a lifetime farmer and a member of the Roann Christian Church and the Gilead Masonic Lodge. Surviving with his wife are a daughter, Mrs. Arnold (Roma) VanLUE, Roann; a son, William R. [BAHNEY], Scottsdale, Ariz.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four stepgreat- grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Claude (Mary Ellen) SMITH, North Manchester. Preceding in death were two sisters and a brother.
