Beatrice Ilean FITES, 71, Rt. 1, Macy, died at 6:30 a.m. today in the Caylor-Nichol Clinic in Bluffton. She was born July 7, 1910 in Akron to Moses and Valura NYE BAHNEY. She married Ralph Edward FITES Feb. 15, 1930 in Miami County. He survives. Mrs. Fites was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church of Deedsville, the United Methodist Women of the church; Past Matron of the Gilead Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, and a member of the Perry Township Improvement Home Extension Club. Surviving with the husband are three sons, Bernard [FITES], Roann; Ronald and Byron [FITES], of Macy; four grandchildren; a sister, Mary SMITH, North Manchester, and a brother, Gerald BAHNEY, Roann. Two sons, a sister and a brother preceded in death. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church with the Revs. George HAPNER and Robert LOUGHEED officiating. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery. Friends may call at the McCain funeral Home, Denver, from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Order of Eastern Star services will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
