Charles Sersaw passed away Sunday, March 1, at his home in Hamilton township after a brief illness. The cause of death was pneumonia. He was 37 years of age and leaves a widow and three daughters.
Charles Sersaw was born in Hamilton township, Clare County, August 9, 1887, and spent the greater part of his life there. His first wife passed away about two years ago, leaving three young daughters to his care. One year ago he was united in marriage to Mrs. Mable Shears of Flint, who survives him. For some time past until stricken with the illness which caused his demise he was employed at the Cornwell farm in Arthur township.
Funeral services were held from the schoolhouse in district one, Hamilton township, Elder George Bailey officiating, and the remains laid to rest in Maple Grove cemetery.
