She had spent the greater part of the week's vacation renovating the home of her parents. She was oiling the kitchen floor using turpentine, she placed the can of fluid on the stove, discovering that it was aflame she took the can and ran to the door to throw it out. The screen door was hooked and she struck it with such great force that the burning fluid was scattered all over her clothing. She ran through the house to another door and threw herself on the ground outside, attempting to extinguish the fire by rolling thereon. Her entire clothing had been consumed and her body horribly burned. She passed from earth about 6 o'clock.
Survived by 2 sisters, Mrs. George Tefoe and Mrs. J. Bortoli, 3 brothers, Gasper of Racine, Wis., Tanered of Caspian and Fred or Iron River.
