Anna Bortoli
NORWAY—Anna Bortoli, 99, of Vulcan died Monday at Maryhill Manor in Niagara.
Mrs. Bortoli was born in Vulcan on Oct. 29, 1887, daughter of the late Joseph and Sophie (Robillard) Deshais. She married Jacob Bortoli on April 15, 1915, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 10, 1976.
Mrs. Bortoli was a lifelong resident of Vulcan. She was a member of St. Barbara’s Church of Vulcan, St. Anne’s Altar Society, Daughters of Isabella and Legion of Mary.
She leaves several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the Miner Funeral Home, with the rosary by the Legion of Mary at 5 p.m. Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, Fr. James M. Hebein, pastor of St. Barbara’s Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Norway Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Maryhill Manor.
