ATHENS - Betty J. Pierceall, age 66, of Athens, IL, passed away on January 14, 2010, at Capitol Care Center in Springfield.

She is survived by two brothers, Herbert (Martha) Pierceall of Springfield and Charles "Butch" (Linda) Pierceall of Athens; three sisters, Rose "Sis" Christensen of Bushnell,

Linda (Delbert) Weidhuner of Athens and

Sharon (Butch) Mester of Athens; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Betty was born June 3, 1943, in Springfield the daughter of Marshall and Alta "Topsy" Bushong Pierceall.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mary Lynn; and two nieces.

Betty graduated from Athens High School in 1961. Betty enjoyed babysitting for the local children and her family. She worked as a clerk for the Secretary of State for twenty three years.

Cremation rites were accorded.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
