Eber M. Wright, 77, died in Traverse City Monday, October 4, following a long illness. Mr. Wright was born June 23, 1894, in Michigan, and had lived most of his life in Gladwin County. He and the former Elizabeth Schranz were married October 14, 1916, in Gladwin, and she preceded him in death February 12, 1968. During his lifetime, he had farmed, was one of the orginators of the Gladwin Locker Plant, and operated a poolroom prior to his retirement. He was the son of Eben and Florence Wright.
Survivors are two sons, Herman and Emil of Gladwin; two daughters, Mrs. Al (Florence) Morgan of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Mrs. Milton (Josephine) Sicard of Saginaw; three brothes, Walter, Clarence and Francis, all of Saginaw; six sisters, Mrs. Lillian Snover of Bay City, Mrs. Ruth Frye of Lansing, Mrs. Lila Ehle of Farmington, Mrs. Louise Klamach and Mrs. Helen Roe, of Saginaw, and Mrs. Doris Mann of Ann Arbor; and four grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 6, at 1:00 p.m., at the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin, with the Rev. John W. Cermak officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 10-06/1971 Column - 5 Page - 2
