Florence became a member of Fairview Moravian Church and remained very active in her church until her death. She was a dedicated mother and wife, who was always an encourager to everyone she knew. She was an amazingly strong, vibrant and active 88 year old woman, and her family will miss her tremendously.
Florence was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, brothers Herman and Emil, and her sister, Josephine Sicard. She is survived by her husband of nearly 67 years, Alton Morgan; her children, Karlynn Morgan, Sam Morgan (Ruth), Lee Morgan (Terry Collins), David Morgan (Karen), and Cindy Morgan; her grandchildren, Joe Morgan, Morgan and Daniel Sharp,Will, Rob, and Karly Bertram; and her great-granddaughter, Layla Bertram, as well as numerous nieces and nephews in both North Carolina and Michigan.
There will be a visitation with the family beginning at 1:30 PM at Fairview Moravian Church, at 6550 Silas Creek Parkway, on Monday, March 9th, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM, burial to be followed at God's Acre.
