IRVING ALFORD
CANANDAIGUA — Irving W. Alford, 94, farmer in the Naples area most of his life, died Friday night (April 19, 1963) at his home at 201 Center St., this city.
Mr. Alford was born Nov. 22, 1868 in South Bristol, a son of Homer and Lucibe Gilbert Alford. He came to reside in Canandaigua last August.
Surviving are her widow, Mrs. Nina Mosher Alford; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Rouse and Mrs. Dean Long and one son Roy Alford, all of Canandaigua, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Kennedy & Son Funeral Home Bristol Street, today from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m
A service will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Rev. William Turverey, pastor of Wesleyan Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Honeoye.
