ROOSEVELT - Catherine Arthema Mott Richens, 86, Roosevelt, died Sept. 7, 1974, in a Roosevelt nursing home. Born Nov. 11, 1887 to John Wentworth and Catherine Irene Holden Mott. Married Thomas Henry Richens, Feb. 25, 1904, Vernal. He died in 1963. Cook at Dragon Nine near Bonanza in early married years; farmed with husband in Arcadia; Duchesne County; member, LDS Church.

Survivors; sons, daughter, Thurlo, Afton, both Myton, Duchesne County; LeNar, Weber County; Lowell, Kearns; Marvin, Earvin (Dick), Arlo, all Salt lake City; John, Arcadia; Mrs. Thelma McKenna, LDS Mission in Arkansas; 47 grandchildren; 94 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Lutie Mott, Roosevelt. Funeral Wednesday, 1 p.m., Myton Ward chapel, where friends call from 11 a.m. to services. Burial, Myton Cemetery.
