He married Nancy Louisa Gurr Apr 2, 1889 in Richfield, Sevier, UT. They had 5 children, Chloe, Fontella Ivia, Myrtle & Earl.

Myron had a Land Patent issued October 4, 1898 in Sevier County Utah. Signed by President William McKinley, containing 155 acres.

Myron Mott Buried at LaPoint Sunday; Succumbed Friday After Short Illness

LAPOINT (Special)----Myron Mott died very suddenly Friday morning after a few weeks of sickness and his funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the ward chapel under the direction of the bishopric.
The speakers were Abner Richens of Naples and S. A. Golding. Mrs. J. C. Hacking, Arthur Curtis and Mr. and Mrs. Acil Caldwell rendered the following songs: "I Know that My Redeemer Lives", "Jesus Lover of My Soul" and "Oh My Father." Invocation was pronounced by Hayden Foster and the benediction by Jacob Rasmussen. The body was taken to Vernal where it was laid away beside his wife who preceded him in death.
A large crowd of relatives and friends attended from Vernal, Gusher and other points, showing respect for the deceased and family.
All census data suggests he was born in 1860.
