Elbert R. Williams
PERRY -- Elbert R. Williams, 66, merchant of Perry, died Sunday in Columbia Hospital.
He was a son of the late Lewis and Cornelia Hoover Williams.
Surivors include his widow, Mrs Bessie B. Williams of Perry; three sons, Lewis B. of Wagener, Kernel of Salley and Yank Williams of Perry; two daughters, Mrs. Inez Moski of Perry and Mrs. Elease Yon of Salley; one brother, Clifton Williams of Springfield; two sisters, Mrs. George
McCollum of Springfield and Mrs, Mary Pearl Walling of Mullins, and one half-brother, Buster Wilson of Springfield.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday from Pleasant Hill Baptist Church near Springfield
by the Rev. Lloy Till of Williston and the Rev. Harold Kirkland of Wagener. Burial will be in the church
cemetery.
The body will be at the Baughman Funeral Home in Wagener until 2 p.m. and then be taken to the church.
Pallbearers will be Buck Wooten, Bob Hoover, Wilton Gantt, Jack McCollum, David McCollum and
Pat Williams.
