Laura Rogers Barnes, 89, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2009. She was the daughter of Giles Vernon and Fannie Henson Rogers.
She was retired from Act III, Division of Johnathan Logan and a member of Arcadia United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Harry E. Barnes; daughters, Sheila B. Bell and husband Michael of Campobello, Cheryl Sprouse and husband Ronald of Spartanburg; a sister, Kathleen Banks of Spartanburg; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will follow the graveside service at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to Piedmont Hospice, 106 Metro Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303; or Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 260 Fairwinds Road, Landrum, SC 29356.
