OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN) - November 10, 1947

Ed T. Owen, 77, 312 Sherman street, an employe of the Gillespie Sales barn north of the city, died in the Wabash county hospital Saturday night at 6:20 o'clock after an illness of two months. Death was due to paralysis.

Although born in Kansas on April 7, 1870, the son of Anderson and Martha (Trisler) Owen, the decedent, resided in Wabash for the last 50 years.

He was married to Lettie McFall, who survives, in Wabash on Dec. 25, 1900.

Mr. Owen was a member of the North Side Evangelical United Brethren church here.

Survivors in addition to the widow include: three sons, Paul of Wabash, James of Fort Wayne, and Donald of Lafayette, three daughters, Mrs. Ora Banks, this city, Mrs. Dwight Goff of Sourh Whitley and Mrs. John Pore of Wabash; three brothers Hugh of Fort Wayne, Ira of Logansport and Dan Owen of Warren, and 16 grandchildren.

The body was taken to the Jones funeral home where friends may call and where services will be conducted on Tuesday at 2 o'clock in the afternoon with the Rev. Wilbur L. Stouder and the Rev. Flossie Farley officiating. Burial will be in Falls cemetery.
