OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN)

Samuel S. Owen, 70, who was employed in the W.P. Jones and Sons furniture store in Wabash for over 50 years, died Thursday morning at 7:30 o'clock at his home near Lagro, where he moved 10 years ago.

He was born in Decatur county, Ind., to Anderson and Martha Owen. He is survived by the widow and four brothers, Ed Owen of Wabash, Ira Owen of Indianapolis, Dan owen of Warren and Hugh Owen of Fort Wayne. There were no children. An adopted son died several years ago.

The body was taken to the Jones Funeral home where it will remain for services Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Ray Smith of the Pilgrim Holiness church will officiate. Interment will be in Falls cemetery.
