Dorcas Day Bostwick, 73 passed away at her home in Ross township, North East of Augusta, Monday morning at 10 o’clock. She had been ill for the past three years. She was born in Barry county, August 27th, 1875, daughter of Chancy and Sarah Day, and had resided her entire life in this community. She was married December 25, 1890 to Frank Bostwick who preceded her in death two years ago last July. Mrs. Bostwick was the last of the Day generation who were among the first settlers of Ross Township.
The body was at the Schlueter Funeral Home in Augusta.
Surviving are two sons Gladyon and Laurence, both of Ross Township, 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the Family Home Wednesday at two p.m. The Rev. Kent Wray officiating with burial in the Day Cemetery.
