Franklin Milo Bostwick was born April 25, 1868 at Galesburg, Michigan, the son of Sarah and George Bostwick and died at his home in Ross township near Augusta at the age of 76 years, 2 months and 21 days.
When a small boy he moved with his parents from Galesburg to Middleville then to Barry twp., where he resided until he was 30 years of age. Then he moved to Ross twp. where he lived until the time of his death.
He was married December 25, 1890 to Miss Dorcas Day. To this union were born three sons, one dying in infancy.
He is survived by his wife, two sons Glaydon and Lawrence, seven grandchildren and two brothers. Rev. A.M.Bostwick of Flint, Michigan and Rev. L.O. Bostwick of Carnerilla, Calif., several nieces and nieces[sic]and a host of friends.
Two sisters, Mrs. Mennie Trethrick and Mrs. Nettie Smith and one brother Rev. George Bostwick preceded him in death.
Funeral service was held at the home Tuesday at two o’clock with burial at the Day cemetery.
