Edwin V. Day Dead
Suffered From Tuberculosis for Several Months
Edwin V. Day, who had been ailing for a long time from tuberculosis of the kidneys, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Frank Bostwick, last Saturday night. During the past few months he spent considerable time in the hospital at Battle Creek, but he gradually grew worse until death relieved him of his suffering which was considerable at times. He was born in Barry county August 20, 1877. He leaves a wife and one son, Luther Day, and three sisters, Mrs. Frank Bostwick of Ross, Mrs. Calvin Stanton of Barry county and Mrs. Mary Bolven of Hickory Corners. The funeral was held at the home of his sister, Mrs. Frank Bostwick, Monday afternoon, Rev. Badder of Hickory Corners and the Odd Fellows lodge of this village having charge of the service.
