She was born at Antietam Junction, Waynesboro R. D. 3, a daughter of the late Abram L. and Barbara King Baker. Her early life was lived at Antietam Junction.
At the age of 14 she was employed in the home of Isaac Hykes and later in the home of Henry Hykes, both of Reid, Md., Hagerstown. R. D. 6.
She is survived by two brothers, John A. Baker, Hagerstown and Elmer B. Baker Waynesboro.
Funeral services will be held on Thrusday at 2 P. M. from the Grove Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Daniel Meyers of Mercersburg. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 9 P. M.
