He was a member of the Emmanuel U.B. Church, the Knights of Pythias and the Waynesboro Fire Company.
Surviving are sons, Edwin C., Mercersburg, Pa.; Charles R., Belmont, NC; William H. Jr. and Bennett H., both of this city; daughters, Mrs. Joseph Kittell, Miss Helen C. Baker, Mrs. J.H. Pollin, all of this city; sister, Miss Alice Baker, this city; brothers, John A., this city; Elmer B., Waynesboro; Charles C., Waynesboro; and eight grandchildren.
Services were held at the Emmanuel United Brethren Church. Interment in Rest Haven Cemetery.
