Delson owned a pest control company, worked a sawmill, was a carpenter and worked with horses and farmed. He was married three times, first to Clara Estella Geer in 1907. Clara was the mother of his children. After her death in 1937 he married Stella Davis and in 1950 he married Faye (Fern) Hart.
