Mrs. Elsie L. McKnight, 86, Route 1, Sulphur Springs, died March 26 in Gravette Medical Center. Born April 21, 1891, at Witter, she was the daughter of Willard and Molinda Hayes Howell. She was a member of the Holiness Church and the widow of George Washington McKnight, who died May 8, 1952.
Survivors include two sons, one daughter, four sisters, five grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services were at 2 p.m. Monday, March 27, in Brashears Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gary Barbaree officiating. Burial was in Witter Cemetery under direction of Brashears.
