MOHALL Mildred Margaret Gehringer, 99, Mohall, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009, at a Mohall nursing home.
She was born July 17, 1910, in Muskego Township, Renville County, near Foxholm, to Joseph and Margaret (Fuerstenberg) Ahmann. She was raised in the Foxholm area and attended school there.
Mildred married Daniel C. Gehringer March 4, 1935, in Mohall. They lived in Brandon Township, Renville County, for many years until moving into Mohall in 1987. Daniel died March 29, 1989.
Mildred was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, Mohall, the Confraternity of Christian Mothers and the Altar Society.
Family: children, JoAnn (Steve) Zearly, Minot. Jim Gehringer, Mohall. LaVonne Rolland, Glenburn. and Tom (Judy) Gehringer, Mohall; 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Mamie Stammen, Sophie Klosterman, Loretta Willenbring, Verna Johnstone, Aurelia Hulse, Florence Walsh and Viola Sutton; and brothers, Fred, Leo, Emil and Leander Ahmann.
Funeral: Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009, at 11 a.m. at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Mohall.
