SHERIDAN____Mrs. Etta I. Waitt, 87, 501 E. 4th St., Sheridan, died Thursday evening at Maple Park Health Manor, Westfield.
A native of Boone County, she was born west of Sheridan Apr. 18, 1884, daughter of William A. and Sarah Newman Sparrow. She was married Nov. 24, 1908 to Fred Waitt who died in 1944.
The couple had resided in Boone County where they farmed moving in 1953 to Sheridan.
The deceased was a member of the Sedwick Chapel Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Mable) Wallace, Michigantown; Mrs. Clifford (Madge) Bailey, Westfield; Mrs. Gaylor (Margaret) Shook, R1, Sheridan; a son, Warren Waitt, Sheridan; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are a brother, Russell Sparrow, Florida; four sisters, Miss Lydia Sparrow and Mrs. Bess Collins, both of Sheridan; Mrs. Lulu Henderson, Centerville; Mrs. Millie Parr, Indianapolis.
