Mrs. Mary Griswold died at her home near Argenta today. She was born in Macon county and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Hopkins. She was married to William T Griswold April 8, 1891. He died in 1933. She was a member of the Cisco Methodist church.
She leaves the following children, Merrill of Cerro Gordo, Emery of Argenta, Mrs.Gertrude Westbay of Decatur, John of Argenta and Mrs. Ire Ankrom of La Place. There is also a brother, John Hopkins of Casner, nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday in the Cisco Methodist church with burial in the La Place cemetery.
