William T. Griswold, 66, farmer of near Argenta died in his home Thursday. He had been in failing health for about a year as a result of heart trouble and had been bedfast for the last three weeks.
He was born Sept. 3, 1867 in Rising Sun, Ind. He was married to Mary Hopkins at Casner, April 8, 1890 and had resided near Argenta for the last 12 years.
He leaves five children, Merrel Griswold of La Place, Gertrude Westbay of Cisco and Emery, John and Irene Griswold all at home, seven grandchildren and four brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services Sunday at Cisco Methodist church and burial will be in Point Pleasant cemetery in Long Creek.
