Dewey Isaac Eades, 54 of Hammond, died of a heart attack Thursday at the Decatur Gun Club Faries park. He was a member of the Hammond Baptist church.

He was born May 15, 1899 in Oakley township the son of Elbert and Amanda Boyd Eads. He was married to Lena Getz on Oct 5, 1918 in Decatur. Besides his wife he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Elmina Wildman, Hammond and Mrs. Izola Goodrich, Monticello and a son, Carl of Bement. Also one brother, John, Oakley and three grandchildren. One brother, Ray preceded him in death.

Services Sunday at Dawson's with burial in Point Pleasant cemetery.
