W. G. Sellers Dies At Moselle Home

Death today at 8:30 a. m. claimed W. G. (Papa) Sellers, 88, widely known lifelong resident of Moselle.

He died at the family home where he was born 88 years ago, following an illness of long extended duration. A retired farmer and sawmill owner and operator, he was prominently known throughout the entire section.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete pending the arrival of a daughter from New York. Memory Chapel has charge.

He leaves five daughters, Mrs. Paul Harrigan, Watertown, N. Y.; Mrs. W. A. Parker, Pensacola, Mrs. E. L. Smith, Hattiesburg; Mrs. E. E. Fairchild and Miss Annie Mae Sellers, both of Moselle;

Four sons, W. O. Sellers, State Department, Pakistan; W. G. Sellers, Brookhaven; J. A. Sellers, Moselle; and C. B. (Dirk) Sellers, Route 6, Laurel.

Four half-sisters, Mrs. B. A. Merritt, Mrs. Barbara Bryant, Mrs. Eula Jones and Mrs. Berdie Finley, all of Hattiesburg; two half-brothers, Andrew Sellers and Buford Sellers, both also of Hattiesburg.

The body lies at the Moselle family home to await the funeral hour. He was a member of Moselle Baptist church.
